Your Inner Voice


Friday is usually a hectic day at work, and, it being my second day back from holidays, I was very busy. 

After I got home from work, had my supper, and then took a look at my Fitbit, just over 8,000 steps. 

Hmmmm.

Ok, but, not good enough. 

10,000 steps is my daily goal. 

So, while watching television, I put some resistance bands on and started to do squats, lunges, and etc. 

Steps increasing, but, still not enough. 

I was tired.

I wasn’t motivated to do more. 

I just wanted to sit and veg. 

However, this voice in my head said, you can do it. Your almost there. Keep going. 

So I started jogging indoors. Completed the 10k steps, and I felt great afterwards.
