Ass to Grass


Ass to Grass? 

What does that even mean? 

It means, when your squatting, you should be almost touching your butt to the ground. 

I admit when I saw this picture I was like, hmmm, I don’t break plane when I squat. It a sit for me. I honestly don’t feel it much in my legs. 

Then when I saw this picture, I wondered, am I doing it all wrong

Then I heard Kim Constable, The Scuplted Vegan, talk about it as well. 

So I gave it a try. I did a Tabata with eight rounds. One exercise was the Goblet Squat. 

I didn’t feel it after my workout, but the next day, legs and my butt were on fire. So sore. If you don’t break plane you don’t target the legs and glutes, which is why I have never felt this in my legs before. 

I did this with a light weight. I would never try something new with a heavy weight. 

Ass to grass is now my motto too. 

Please send help, I can’t get up the stairs anymore.
