Giant Sets Giant Pain


A giant set is where you perform 4 exercises on one body part all in a row with no rest until your done. 

Ummm... 

Killer....

The day before I worked shoulders, triceps, lats. 

My triceps being sore, I, waked into the gym determined to try a giant set aimed at my chest. 

Dumbell chest press 
Chest flys 
Cross overs 
Pushups 

Then a 2-4 min rest. Repeat. 

Holy shit, what a burn. 

On my third set I was shaky, couldn’t do more then 3 pushups. 

I was done. 

Finisher was a ten minute punching bag workout. 

Chest sore but felling good. 

Something I will definitely try again, but, have a rest day before hand. 

Next option: drop sets. Try something new in your workout today!
