Fat Loss Phase Update

Time for an update.

Back in October as I was finishing up the hypertrophy phase, my weight was 197lbs. Eating between 2800 to 3000 calories per day with 200 grams of protein.

Middle of January I’m now at 185lbs. Down 12 pounds.

Two weeks ago I hardly saw any change in weight. Still stuck at 188lbs I felt like I hit a plateau

I once asked a client how her progress was going. She told me she was skipping meals. Not eating much when she got home from work, usually going to bed right away feeling exhausted, and then on the weekends she would eat a lot. I told her, “why are you eating so much when your not active and barely eating anything when your busy and active throughout the day?”  She changed her methods and lost a bunch of weight.

So it made sense to me to make an adjustment to my own diet. Eat a good sized breakfast, lunch, snacks, and then for supper, toast with jam on it and some coffee. That’s all. A small supper. I’m not as active when I get home from work. Unless it’s a workout day, then I would eat more.

With this small adjustment I dropped 3 pounds quickly.

Healthy weightloss is a matter of small adjustments. Tracking what your doing. Time. It requires time.

Be patient.

When I notice a change in my body through the mirror, I step on the scale to confirm my belief.

You can do it! Get fit. Get healthy. With me.
