How much is that daily Coffee and Doughnut costing you?

Your daily habits may be costing you more then you think. If you look at your bank statement at the end of the month and wonder, just where did all your money go, small daily spending habits can hurt you more then you think.

For example:

A daily cup of coffee and a doughnut at the local coffee shop, will cost you, let's say $3.00 per day. Let's factor in the yearly average rate of inflation of 3%. Inflation is the increase of the price of goods based on economic factors.

So... that $3.00 daily expenses will cost you.... $1,127.85 in one year. If you continue to spend $3.00 every day, you would have spent $3,486.07 in three years. In ten years you would have spent $12,929.54.

Let's say you had used your credit card to fund the purchase instead, and, your annual interest rate is 15%, that $3.00 daily expense would have cost you $25,567.46 in ten years.
